I've been playing this song over and over today, drawn to it - so tender, such a picture of gratitude. It's called "You Still Have My Heart" from Rita Springer's album Rise Up. This song sings thanksgiving over me and kindles my gratefulness...
Oh, the mysteries of the sea and sky,
How the rain falls down when the earth cries out for water!
In secret you fashioned these arms to raise a worthy praise
And these lips to sing of a love I stumbled onto
It's why I'm here to say 'thank you'
Oh, I sigh... at your wonders!
Oh, Lord, I labor for breath at your creation
Your majesty, it has my attention
Your sovereignty, it has my devotion
And you still have my heart
It's impossible to say there is another God like you
In all your ways you are speaking still, and I am listening
Oh, the image of bright red blood that ran to save
And rose to make my life brand new!
It's why I'm here to say 'thank you,'
Thank you...
Oh, I sigh... I sigh at all your wonders!
Oh, Lord, I labor for breath at your creation
Your majesty, it has my attention
And your sovereignty, it has my devotion
And you still have my heart,
You still have my heart
[this is good] Uaaaaau!! This song is too high to my heart! whenever I hear, I feel God's presence and I wanted to cry, to laugh, to see the sunset, seeing the laughter of a child, to climb to the top of a mountain and admire the creation.
I tried this letter incessantly and only found in your home page.
thank you!
May God bless you ...
